Braden the Young

Hey there, I’m Braden the Young! I’m an alternative-pop artist located in the Pacific Northwest. I’ve been making music almost my entire life (growing up in Kansas City), so I’m inspired by many people, places, and artists. Simply, my goal is to make music like no one has ever made before and to connect with people on a fundamental level. Most of my songs are created right here at my house, where I sing, produce, write, mix and master everything I release. I also play a bunch of instruments (including guitar, trumpet and piano), with which I like to experiment. My influences are pretty wide, ranging from Paul Simon to Beck to Labrinth. I really just love making music, and I hope that joy comes through when you listen. My debut album, SUPER, is out now. The culmination of a few years of writing, the end result is something I’m really proud of. It runs the gamut of musical styles, from electronic to rock and RnB, but I think it stays centered nonetheless. I wanted to create an album that would vibe with the sunny days of life and inspire optimism during grey skies! I also co-run a record label called Middleborn with my friend and fellow Kansas City-native, Mark Francis. Through the label, I have met and collaborated with so many amazing artists and people. As such, I am a part of many other artist projects including Dojo for Crooks, Luna + Yury, Burning Bridges, PRTY ANML, and Ønders.
