danyjel is a 19-year-old Czech artist, producer and engineer. His music moves between alternative sounds, rap, electronic elements and more experimental production, while keeping a strong focus on his own sound and direction. danyjel produces all of his music himself and also handles his own mixing and mastering. Every part of the process — from production and recording to the final master — is done by him. MAKIN’ is danyjel’s latest album, built around 7 connected tracks. Each song leads into the next, making the whole album work as one continuous piece when played from beginning to end. Rather than treating the tracks as separate songs, MAKIN’ was made to be experienced as one complete listen. 68dd is danyjel’s independent label, currently run entirely by him. The label was originally created together with his former partner džirka, with whom he worked on several releases and projects. Their creative paths separated around a year ago, and danyjel has continued 68dd independently since then. Everything released through 68dd reflects danyjel’s own creative and production approach. And if something sounds like a bad mix, it’s not a bad mix. It’s just the style.
