Rob ‘Dogger’ Smith: Professional skateboarder turned music producer and DJ, Dogger is best known for crafting liquid drum and bass anthems like Sweet Jungle (with [K S R]) Easy (With Catching Cairo) and Broken Home (featuring Liam Bailey). Collaborating frequently with production partner Mindstate. Racking up over 10 Million Spotify streams, Dogger has recently expanded his sound, exploring a range of drum & bass sub-genres and branching into other styles alongside artists such as DRS, Slay and TomInTheChamber. With releases on acclaimed labels including 1985 Music, Shogun Audio, Drum & Bass Arena, and The North Quarter, Dogger has also spent the past five years building his own imprint, Precinct. The label has showcased both established names like LSB & Bailey and rising stars like Funktional, OB, and Trakker. Most recently, Dogger teamed up with Tyler Daley (Children of Zeus) for the soulful single Try Again. 2025, Dogger has an exciting year of new music. he plans monthly releases on labels such as DnB Allstars, UKF and more, culminating in his debut solo EP on Precinct. Raised under Manchester’s brooding skies, he grew up surrounded by melancholy yet powerful soundscapes that shaped his creative direction. From early days behind a drum kit to teenage years in bands, his path to music production was paved by influences ranging from Calibre and Marcus Intalex to Joy Division, Björk, and David Lynch.
