This is The Artist's Job

Etu Raposo is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer based in Germany. Through his project "This is The Artist’s Job", he effortlessly transcends genre boundaries and confidently defines the artist's mission as he sees it: to be bold and to kick open closed doors—or simply build new ones. His singles "Rennpferd" (2026) and "Anza Kucheza" (2026) have already spectacularly delivered on this promise. In 2024, he co-founded the music label "TiKompany" with filmmaker, photographer, and painter Tedda Efaríe; the label will release his debut work, "Mammas Pappas Artists Universes," (due spring 2027) which serves as the centerpiece of a values-driven, interdisciplinary art project. His musical collaborations include work with the multi-award-winning violinist and chanteuse Pernilla Kannapinn, Zimbabwean singer Joseph Dewa, saxophonist Soula Saxoulizer, and numerous other artists. He has been nominated for the GEMA Authors' Prize, performed at "Rock am Ring," and won the Audience Award at the "Local Heroes" band contest.
