Brad Surovec

I remember at an early age singing in my back yard and feeling God's presence all around me and later how much I loved music and being amazed at the sound of live instruments.The Nashville Symphony Orchestra left me with a sense of awe as to the connection music on me. I started to focus learning guitar and vocals in 1974 as I became acquainted with the music group Shadowfax. Keith Hinton, the lead guitarist, was my first music mentor. Later my focus moved primarily to lead vocals covering bands like Aerosmith, Hall & Oats, Boston, Led Zepplin etc. I went on the road with Slave as road crew, we also toured with the Commodores , The Emotions, Bootsy’s Rubber Band, Ohio Players, and the O’Jays to name a few. Over the years I played in many different bands but certain muscians had a profound effect on my music foundation. Kevin Gwin being one of them who is an amazing guitarist and great friend. In 1983 and over a time period of 10 years I became the father of 4 amazing children and music became a smaller focus to being a Dad as well as a career change in 1981. As my kids grew my passion to write and play music resurfaced and in 1986 and was playing concerts for small and large crowds in the Ohio area. In 2004 I started leading church worship. It was in 2007 that I moved from West Chester Ohio to Columbia, SC for a life and job change. Today living in Goose Creek, SC with my wife Beth and starting all over pursuing the desires of my heart.
