G4ZI

G4ZI is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and creative from Ikorodu, Lagos, known for his distinctive approach to words, melodies and storytelling. Born Akinsiku Akinbolawa Gabriel, G4ZI’s connection to music started early. Growing up around music, he began as a backup singer for his mother, OFERE, who is widely known within C&S and Celestial church circles. That early exposure became the foundation for his own musical journey. A self-proclaimed “Master of Words and Melodies,” G4ZI draws from Highlife, Fuji, Rap and R&B, creating music that feels deeply Nigerian and uniquely his. His friends call him the “Lyrical Engineer” — a reflection of his ability to turn words, melodies and everyday experiences into music. Before stepping into the spotlight, G4ZI spent years developing his craft as a songwriter, attending songwriting camps and writing for different artists. Music has always been more than a career for G4ZI. He lives the music he makes. His journey took an unexpected turn through his longtime best friend, Kunmie, whom he has known since nursery school. Through their friendship, G4ZI was around during a call between Kunmie and Kizz Daniel. That moment eventually led to Kizz Daniel featuring on G4ZI’s debut single, “Energy.” “Energy” has gone on to surpass 10 million streams across platforms, marking a powerful beginning for an artist who believes he is destined to become one of the world’s greatest. G4ZI is only getting started.
