Biography & Metadata

Joe Capriglione doesn't come from Nashville. He comes from the Pine Barrens — that stretch of South Jersey scrubland where the cedar water runs dark and the towns don't show up on most maps. That place is in every song he writes: the smoke, the silence, the kind of people who work hard and don't ask for much. His music lands somewhere between outlaw country and Americana, built on honest storytelling and the particular weight of a life actually lived. He records, releases, and handles everything himself — the songs, the outreach, the whole operation. He writes with his wife Jennifer Capriglione (both CMA members), volunteers as a firefighter, and answers to no one. No label. No management.. Just the songs and the work. His catalog pulls from Tyler Childers and Colter Wall as much as it does from Hank Williams Jr. — music that earns its dirt rather than performing it. He has many live performances on his social medias. His debut releases hit in early 2026, anchored by Grew Up in the Pines — a track that does exactly what the title says. If you're looking for something real from somewhere most people drive past without stopping, this is it.
