Ben Shaw

Ben Shaw is a singer-songwriter based in Joshua Tree, California. Ben's music is emotionally driven, heavy folk. His delicate melodies are sung with barroom grit where cinematic lyrics are painted over sonic tapestries. Ben has been recording and performing original music since 1990. In 2016, after a decade or so hiatus, Ben released the full length album, Feet to the Fire. As a follow-up to Feet to the Fire, Ben recorded his follow-up, Bonita, at Pine Hollow Studios with Producer Evan Middlesworth (The National). The album was released in August 2018. Ben has also released several singles and been featured on a variety of projects by other artists. Ben also is one half of the psychedelic American duo, Ghost Words. Ben's rock opera, The Iciclist, recorded with Jamie Hill at Department of Energy Management Studios releases Fall of 2025.
