Biography & Metadata
Born in Istanbul in 1990, Turkish DJ and music producer Merve Ekinci draws her sound from the city’s rich ethnic texture, ancient rhythms, and emotional depth. As a meeting point of East and West, Istanbul transforms into a spiritual and timeless narrative within her music. Working across Ethnic House, Organic House, Afro House, and Melodic Techno House, she blends traditional elements with modern electronic structures, inviting listeners into an immersive inner journey. Hypnotic grooves, deep basslines, and layered melodies define her distinctive musical identity. For Merve Ekinci, music is more than performance — it is a space where culture, emotion, and rhythm converge.
