mei ehara

mei ehara is a singer songwriter, born in 1991 and based in Tokyo, Japan. Following several self released recordings, she released her first full-length album "Sway" (2017) and the second album "Ampersands" (2020), both on renowned indie label KAKUBARHYTHM. Her latest release is the third album "All About McGuffin" (2025). After joining Faye Webster’s U.S. tour as the opening act starting in 2024, she went on to headline her own tour across the United States in 2025. She co wrote the lyrics and provided vocals for Faye Webster's second album "I Know I'm Funny Haha" in 202 l and provided vocals for Cornelius' single'Change and Vanish (feat. mei ehara)'in 2022. She has also guested on many recordings by other musicians over the years. 1991年生まれ。複数の自主制作音源を制作した後は、インディレーベルKAKUBARHYTHMより1st Album "Sway (2017)"、2nd Album "Ampersands (2020)"を発表。2021年、Faye Websterの2nd’’I Know I'm Funny Haha’’にボーカル、作詞で参加。またCornelius『変わる消える(feat. mei ehara)』にもボーカルで参加するばなど、他にも多数の楽曲に参加。 2024年からFaye Websterのアメリカツアーにオープニングアクトとして帯同した後、2025年にはアメリカヘッドラインツアーを決行。最新作は2025年秋にリリースした3rd Album "All About McGuffin"。
