Coffee Date

Coffee Date is the project of Puerto Rican-American composer Evelyn Rivera. Using organic beats, live instrumentation, and heaps of nostalgia, Coffee Date takes a heartfelt and human approach to the lofi hip-hop genre. A devoted multi-instrumentalist, Evelyn is a self-taught musician and has been making music for upwards of two decades. She launched the Coffee Date project with renowned VGM record label GameChops in 2019, making her debut with the instant hit Dearly Beloved. Since then, she has released ten albums, over a hundred songs, vinyl pressings for her albums Stardew & Chill and Stardew & Chill 2, and has also expanded into the field of live performance. Coffee Date aims to create a warm and inviting space in the video game music scene, where everyone is welcome to kick back and relax. When she's not producing or playing music, Evelyn can be found writing, developing visual media projects, or curled up on her couch with a good fantasy novel.
