Oceans in the Sky

Oceans in the Sky a.k.a. Liam Frost grew up in a musical household, studying classical and jazz before playing in bands and making weirdo pop songs from a young age. Oceans was established as Mugen in 2013. As Mugen, he released an EP and numerous singles, played solo and full band tours in China, Taiwan, and the U.S., and performed on TV and radio shows in Taiwan. Leaving Taiwan to return to New York City, Frost assembled a full band to support his live show and signed with Heading East Records, the label headed by Fred Mascherino (Say Anything, Taking Back Sunday). Oceans released the debut album Parallels at the start of 2023 and embarked on multiple tours throughout the U.S. and Canada to promote the album. Oceans in the Sky released Parallels (Deluxe) on December 6, 2024. Frost produced the LP alongside Jon Markson (The Story So Far) who co produced and mixed, with additional mixing by Evan Hsieh (A-Lin, Leehom Wang) and mastering by Brian Lucey (Post Malone, Green Day). It spans countless genres with multilingual lyrics, catchy pop melodies and a punk rock energy throughout. Being biracial and multicultural, he sees parallels in Western and Eastern music and connects them.
