Space Tribe

Space Tribe was a psychedelic trance project by the late Oliver John Wisdom (1958–2021), who was a pioneer in the Goa and psytrance music genres. Before Space Tribe, Olli Wisdom was a singer for the goth band Specimen and co-founded London's "The Batcave" club. After traveling and experiencing psychedelic parties in Asia, he moved to Goa in the early 1990s, where he began producing music and, with his brother Miki Wisdom and Richmond, launched the successful Space Tribe clothing brand. He is recognized as one of the best-known names in the psychedelic scene, remaining prominent through the evolution of Goa and psytrance from the 90s into modern styles. His contributions are celebrated by the community, who remember him for his unique sound, positive energy, and dedication to the culture. In addition to his acclaimed solo project, Wisdom and his buddy Max Peterson, better known as Mad Maxx, formed the psychedelic trance phenomenon Mad Tribe, which fused their production styles and musical tastes. As a duo, they quickly achieved great success in the underground trance community, leaving an unmistakable mark on the history of psytrance, playing across every continent on Earth.
