Barbur

Founder and A&R of the acclaimed platform Barbur Room, Marco Barbiero, aka Barbur, is an influential figure in the international electronic music scene, currently based in Berlin, Germany. With roots in Southern Italy’s Puglia region and a deep background in marketing and communication, Marco launched Barbur Room in 2014 shortly after relocating to Berlin. Since then, the project has become a respected reference point for underground music, hosting globally renowned artists such as Charlotte de Witte, Deborah De Luca, DJ Chus, Riva Starr, Chus & Ceballos, Anna Tur, Juliet Sikora, Nakadia, Simina Grigoriu, while also giving early visibility to rising talents like Anfisa Letyago, Fideles, Giorgia Angiuli and many more. Known for his eclectic and refined musical taste, Barbur’s DJ sets blend melodic techno, deep and driving grooves, always tailored to the moment, delivering high energy and deep connection on the dancefloor. Over the years, Barbur has performed across Europe in clubs and venues including Birgit Club and Cassiopeia (Berlin), Lolas Club and Paradiso Rooftop (Ibiza), Old Fashion and The Beach (Milan), Three Sisters (Amsterdam), Cromie, Praja, The Sanctuary, Nomade, Samsara (Puglia) and many others.
