ShakaMan YKTV

Rixaka Hlungwani, known as ShakaMan YKTV, was born in Soweto and grew up in the West Rand, where he launched his musical journey. I am a producer of Amapiano and the creator/originator of Boots Movement. Boots Movement is a subgenre of Amapiano. At the age of 6, I began learning piano when my father bought me a keyboard and taught me how to play. That's the source of all the passion for music. At the age of 10, I played the keyboard in church, which is where I acquired additional experience and knowledge. At age 15, I fell for the Soulful Amapiano sound and began producing Amapiano music. I started to gain recognition in 2025 when I released my first album, "The Next Better Kid," which included artists such as Scotts Maphuma, Cowboii, Felo Le Tee, Tycoon, and several others. In early 2026, I released a single called “Sgidla Vah” featuring Bongza, Mluusician, Thatohatsie, and Tracy. Then mid year I dropped another single with Justin99 & Cowboii called “Naye Wave”
