Hill Valley Hero

Hill Valley Hero creates cinematic electronic music inspired by the adventure, imagination, and nostalgia of 1980s cinema, video games, and pop culture. Blending soaring melodies, analogue-inspired synths, and modern production, each release feels like the soundtrack to a forgotten sci-fi or fantasy film that never existed. Drawing influence from the iconic scores of the VHS era, Hill Valley Hero crafts immersive musical worlds filled with neon skylines, ancient forests, distant planets, arcade heroes, and impossible adventures. Equal parts nostalgic and cinematic, the music invites listeners to rediscover the magic of a childhood spent exploring worlds beyond the screen. Whether you're chasing ghosts through the woods, battling monsters in a forgotten dungeon, or racing towards the horizon as the sun sets, there's a soundtrack waiting to accompany the journey. Vinyl and cassette editions of selected releases are available through Timeslave Recordings.
