¡MAYDAY!

It is hard to describe Miami just like it is hard to describe the sounds of ¡MAYDAY!. But one thing they both have in common is that, in the end, you know it's going to be a party. Hailing from South Florida, the genre-bending hip hop group ¡MAYDAY!, headed by dynamic emcees Wrekonize and Bernz and the percussive sounds of instrumentalist NonMS, is tapping into its past to ride a new wave of momentum as newly appointed independent artists on its own MAYDAY MUSIC label. ¡MAYDAY! got its beginning by playing weekly all-nighters up and down South Beach and had packed crowds bursting at the seams, which caught the attention of Midwest rap legend Tech N9ne. ¡MAYDAY! signed with Tech N9ne and his Strange Music label in 2011, which started an incredible decade-long album and tour run that saw them collaborating with top acts such as Kendrick Lamar, Ace Hood, Cee-lo Green, Murs, Brotha Lynch Hung, and Devin The Dude to name a few. Releasing several albums, ¡MAYDAY! received critical acclaim for its innovative music style and lack of regard for traditional boundaries. In the process, ¡MAYDAY! helped Tech N9ne secure one of his early Gold Certifications by producing and co-writing his smash single "Fragile." ¡MAYDAY! is no stranger to large crowds, with countless sellout shows during their recent BLVRS anniversary tour. The lead up to the band's JUSTUS album has seen the band's popularity and numbers rise, which can only point toward another legendary run coming up.
