Six Missing

Six Missing is the ambient music project of Austin-based composer, producer, and sound designer TJ Dumser. Blending hand-played guitar loops, vintage synthesizers, modular textures, and analog tape processes, he creates immersive soundscapes for meditation, focus, and deep listening. Since launching in 2017, Six Missing has amassed over 200 million streams worldwide, quietly building a devoted international audience drawn to his human, tactile approach to modern ambient and neoclassical composition. Releases like Here For Now, Without Mind, and drift, sway explore presence, impermanence, and emotional clarity — music not for escape, but for arrival. The name Six Missing was inspired by a supernatural experience near Pennsylvania’s Battle of Brandywine — a moment that continues to inform his exploration of memory and the unseen.
