With Sails Ahead

With Sails Ahead is a band known for heartfelt post-hardcore music that melds dueling guitar leads and soaring, distorted vocals. Named one of Asbury Park Press' bands and artists you need to hear, the group has built a following by opening for acts such as A Lot Like Birds, Hail The Sun, Eidola and Royal Coda, and touring the country with their peers Pulses., Space Weather, Cat Company, Adventurer, and I Met a Yeti. Their long-awaited debut full-length record ‘Infinite Void’ was released on April 26th, 2024 . The 13-track album was self-produced and engineered by guitarist Josef Warner-Reyes in their bedroom studio. Having drawn comparisons to bands such as Saosin and Chon, 'Infinite Void' is a blend of the group’s core post-hardcore and math rock influences, occasionally fusing progressive metal on tracks like “Ryn” and pop rock on “Swear Words”. The record was mixed by August Axcelson (Kaonashi, ASkySoBlack), and mastered by Kris Crummett (Issues, Sleeping With Sirens, Lower Definition).
