Rei Narita

Pianist, composer, producer, and the owner of the labels "key Rei jazz" and "studio luna azul". Rei Narita is a pioneer of Smooth Jazz in Asia. Not only composition and performance, but also mixing, mastering, artwork design, photography, music video production, all the work is completely self-produced by himself. Narita began his solo career in 2011, releasing The Color of Soundscape,followed by The Color of Soundscape II(2015), Key Rei Cover(2017). In 2017 he established a new production label called "key Rei jazz". Based on the concept of "In the pursuit for beauty ...", he designed and produced not only music, but also fashion, accessories, and also food products. Narita formed his first jazz unit called “Ear Candy Jazz Factory". At the same time as debut, they held a Southeast Asian tour. Their debut album "Tangerine Peel Jam" was selected for all of JAL's International Flight Program,this is an exceptional achievement as an independent label. His beautiful piano playing has been hailed as "Immaculate Diamond", "Kaleidoscope of Attractive Melody" and "A jewel of smooth jazz" by all over the world. Narita had a recording session in Los Angeles with Peter White,Nelson Rangell, Marc Antoine, Omar Hakim, Steve Bailey, Jimmy Johnson, Luis Conte and Eric Valentine who are known worldwide as the top artists of the Smooth Jazz world. Narita has been releasing EP The Color of Soundscape 2020 and 2021 every year since 2020.
