Madness On Tha Block

Revolutionary rap collective straight outta Denpasar, Bali, active since 2016 and still moving militant. Five wild minds : Kid Clique, Jenggo aka Funky Fink, B-Radio, Da Kriss and Loseyes Raised on 90s boom bap but wired with Bali’s back-alley dialect, bends gritty rap textures into something confrontational, loud, and unapologetic. Sound is dusty drums, sharp cuts, street sermons, and moshpit chaos. Lyrically, they swing between socio-political heat, environmental struggle, underground gossip, and the absurd poetry of daily life served with sarcasm, anger, and collective resistance. From $UCKLAW (2020) to CHYPERTENSI (2021) and PATOIS (2024), plus the EP MADFACE INVASION TRACK TAPE and bunch of singles and compilation albums with DEF BLOC also collaborating with numerous producers across islands. Keeps stacking proof that the island got teeth. Not just a rap group but a collective movement pushing Bali’s underground culture forward, loud and unpolished.
