Letoaalii Hughes, professionally known as Letoa, is a 22-year-old Samoan-Australian artist based in New Zealand and a pioneering figure of the early Global Aesthetic Rap movement. Emerging during the genre’s formative years, Letoa helped shape its sound and aesthetic, establishing himself as one of its early innovators. In 2026, Letoa’s independent career reached new heights, receiving the Arch Angel Independent Artist Award at the Pacific Music Awards and seeing his album GLOCSTARR 2 debut at No. 4 on the New Zealand charts.
