DKANDLE

Founded as a solo project by Brazilian-born Denis Kandle in Tuscany in 2021, DKANDLE evolved into a dynamic trio in 2024 with the addition of Dutch-born bassist Gene Teysse (aka DJ Dragnet) and Italian-born drummer Stefano Cerri. Together, the band creates music that is both expansive and intimate, drawing from a rich tapestry of influences including shoegaze, grunge and post-punk. Their signature sound is characterized by haunting melodies, layered instrumentation, and evocative lyricism. ​The new EP, "Under The Effect" (11/22/24), featuring three tracks, represents the latest milestone in DKANDLE's artistic journey. It follows their acclaimed albums, "Mondano" (2022) and "More Drag Queens Less Drama Queens" (2023). With this release, DKANDLE continues to solidify its reputation as sonic innovators in the alternative music scene.
