Biography & Metadata

Carlos do Complexo is a music producer and sound architect from Rio de Janeiro whose work moves between Electronic, R&B, funk carioca, and Afro-diasporic club sounds. Since 2014, he has helped shape a distinctive scene in Brasil, building a language that blends dense synth textures, striking drums, and immersive sample work. His credits include collaborations with Anitta, Ludmilla, Pabllo Vittar, Bad Bunny, HEYOON, BK, Sen Senra, Duda Beat, Sango, Silva, Gilsons, and YOÙN, as well as work for TV Globo, Havaianas, Bershka, and Canal Brasil. In 2021, “Visceral,” with Fran and Bibi Caetano, received a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Short Form Music Video. His recent album NTGMX transforms a profound mental health crisis into sound, merging electronic music with Latin American and Afro-Caribbean influences such as reggaeton, dancehall, dembow, and funk. In 2026, Carlos produced five tracks on Anitta's EQUILIBRIVM and EQUILIBRIVM II, including “Ouro,” the first mantra to enter Spotify Brazil’s Top 100.
