Preston Wayne

Preston Wayne is a melodic rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer born and raised in the little known state of Montana. Falling in love with music at an extremely young age, Preston began his career as a musician by 9 years old, writing songs, rapping and singing with his brother. By the age of 11 Preston was on stage as an actor/singer for musical theater under the direction of his Father, and at 16 began performing shows under his own name with a local rap group “Poetic Intelligence”. Looking to find his way into the music industry, Preston left Montana after graduating high school and moved across the country to Ventura California where his career began in earnest. Over the last 6 years Preston has curated a prolific resume as a songwriter for television with his music appearing in major programs such as the 50 Cent produced series “Power", "Power Book II: Ghost", “Power: The Force", Lee Daniels produced hit TV Series “Empire" and “Star" and Lena Waithe's hit series "The Chi" to name a few. In 2022 Preston wrote the majority of the soundtrack, as well as starred in Will Packer’s musical movie “Praise This” featuring a star studded cast including Quavo, Chlöe Bailey, and Druski. “Praise This” premiered on Peacock on April 7th of 2023 to critical acclaim. Preston plans on becoming the top artist of the decade, and strongly believes you must learn to fall in love with the journey and not the destination.
