LIEV

LIEV is a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist and electronic music producer. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the Institute of Arts at UNESP and works in the intersection of these three areas: Visual Arts, Music, and Technology. His research delves into the intersectionality between machinery and sounds produced by nature. Within his body of work, everyday noises and the human voice - particularly in spoken word pieces - serve as the raw material that intertwines with machines and AI-generated sounds, giving rise to sonic landscapes and music that immerse in the contemporary human experience. "nebulla" (2017) is his first EP, comprising of 4 tracks, and it presents an atmospheric sound composed of voice loops, guitars, trumpets, piano, samples, and live audio processing.
