Across Oceans

The Berlin-based progressive metal band Across Oceans return with their new single “Masquerade” — a crushing, uncompromising track that pulls no punches from the very first second. As the second single of 2026, Masquerade is another preview of the upcoming debut album To The Pyre, set for release in October 2026. From the very beginning, it’s clear: Masquerade is raw, intense, and relentless. The song delivers a continuous force of aggressive riffs, driving rhythms, and dark atmosphere — never letting up. At the same time, Across Oceans combine their progressive signature with a new level of direct, uncompromising heaviness. With Masquerade, the internationally formed Berlin-based band once again demonstrates their ability to unite technical precision, extreme dynamics, and emotional depth into a powerful sonic statement. The track reveals the darker side of To The Pyre and marks another step in the band’s ongoing evolution. Since forming in 2023, Across Oceans have established themselves as a rising force in modern progressive metal through multiple EP releases, extensive live activity across Germany and Europe, and strong support from the music press. With To The Pyre, they now enter their next chapter.
