Marce “MASKED” Romero, born in 1998 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, grew up surrounded by heavy metal and horror films. His world expanded in 2006 when he discovered French House artists like Justice, Daft Punk, and SebastiAn on the radio. By his teens, dubstep ignited his passion for producing electronic music, leading to the creation of his project, CATHEDRALIS. In 2022, CATHEDRALIS debuted with the single “Pressure” a racing-inspired, adrenaline-packed track that became a defining moment in his career. This was followed in 2024 by the release of his debut album Vanguard, a 12-track collection featuring collaborations with Hota, Jimmy ( Revenge Of The Neon Kids ), Synthenia, JOWIEEE, Cafesarcasmo, and Ayelén Iriel from his other project, Proyecto Tunguska. In 2025, CATHEDRALIS released Vanguard (Deluxe Edition) featuring reimagined tracks as a long-form live set with studio quality, and remixes by COMPAKT, Toni Leys, JOWIEEE, Tater Anderssonon, RezzWick and MASKED. For 2026, a new album is in development called "Retrocasual", with "Anesthesia" being the first taste of this new album.
