Biography & Metadata
Ro$ama, known for his rapid-fire flow and ear for soul-filled samples, has been passionate about rapping since before he was ten. Early tracks like “QT” and “Trapping & Robbing” built his reputation in the streets, and now he’s walking red carpets with BigXThaPlug after appearing on a track for Warner Bros. Pictures’ Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire soundtrack. Fans know him as one of the hardest rappers out of DFW. Growing up in Paris, Texas, Ro$ama, born RoDarrion, blended his first name with “Osama” because of his early “bad kid” reputation. From a young age, he used a cassette player and PlayStation to create songs, rapping about sports before realizing hip-hop was his calling. In college, he taught himself FL Studio, drawing inspiration from Lil Wayne and The Game. Ro$ama went viral in 2022 with “Federal Express,” recorded while working at FedEx and sampling Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September.” Following mixtapes Menace II Rociety, Ground Zero, and Wait 4 the Drop, he built his career through consistent single releases. Since signing to 600 Entertainment in 2022, Ro$ama appeared on Meet the 6ixers and performed at Coachella, generating over 50 million Spotify streams. May 2025’s Orange Tape marks Ro$ama stepping fully into his own, featuring That Mexican OT, Duke Deuce, and BigX, blending Southern bounce with classic trunk vibes. He hopes to open doors for other East Texas talent while continuing to push his sound.
