Biography & Metadata
WeiFan Chang is a composer from Taiwan. He began in independent theatre in 2012. In 2016, he collaborated with Red Candle Games on the horror game 'Detention', winning the IndieCade 'The Journey Award'. Later that year, he released his solo album 'Circle of Time', inspired by the People's Temple Church. In 2019, he scored Netflix's 'Pili Fantasy: War Of Dragons', the game 'Star Diffusion', and produced the 'Devotion' ending song 'Lady of the Pier'. In 2020, he collaborated with ROG on RE:IGNITE (feat. Emi Evans). In 2021, he composed for the film "Blood Of The Blue" and Netflix's "Brave Animation Series", nominated for a Golden Bell Award. In early 2022, he scored "DEMIGOD: The Legend Begins", selected for the Bucheon and Neuchâtel Film Festivals. That July, he scored Netflix's "Mom, Don't Do That!", collaborated with WeiBird on "Only Once", and worked with Troy Baker on the ROG single "Reality". His "Asterigos: Curse of the Stars" soundtrack won the NYX Gold and TpGS23 Best Audio Awards.
