A Deeper Heaven

@adeeperheaven is the Dream Pop-Gaze and Post Punk project of producer Marc Wheeler. With influences starting with '85-'95 Alt Rock to the present, Marc weaves textures and tones that evoke emotional landscapes, painting contrasts of our surreal lives - dream states next to striking realities, melancholy and hope dancing together, and clear subtleties against the backdrop of a noisy world. A Deeper Heaven creates a bittersweet escape, that vividly embraces the paradoxes of our human experience. ~Dark Globe (France) describes it as "Intoxicating and sophisticated shoegaze". ADH draws inspiration from labels Creation Records, Captured Tracks, and newer bands such as Beach Fossils, DIIV, Film School, and The Haunted Youth, while rooted in classic melodic shoegaze of Ride, Slowdive, Adorable, Catherine Wheel, The Verve and post punk / melancholy pop structures such as Echo & the Bunnymen, The Cure, New Order, and The Smiths. With a style too polished for the bedroom movement, but too dreamy and fuzzy for indie pop, A Deeper Heaven crosses boundaries effortlessly. Beyond hooks and shimmering guitar, there is a depth and complexity that sets ADH apart - driven by a critical need to heal, there is a visceral and human feel, a warmth and sincerity that is infused in every aspect of this art. adeeperheaven@gmail.com
