Esther Van Hees

New album 'Nazomer' will be out on 18 September with Télès Music! Amsterdam based Belgian singer Esther Van Hees is active in various projects. She is known for her warm sound and intimate storytelling. In 2025 her duo Blue Sands won the Edison Award for best national vocal album of the year. In May 2026 Esther toured the Canary Islands with Atlantic Jazz lab orchestra for the release of bigband album 'TOO DARN HOT!' of which she is the solist together with trumpet player Natanael Ramos. 18 September 2026 she is releasing her new Dutch album 'Nazomer' (Indian summer) which is an hommage to the great Dutch songbook of jazz and cabaret from the 60 and 70s of the Netherlands, produced and arranged by Jeroen Vierdag. It will be released with télès Music. You can also hear Esther on albums such as 'Hoe liefde Danst', an album of Dutch translations of the Brazilian songbook and on 'The Second Time Around', a jazz record with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw featuring. Fornite fans might recognize her voice from Chapter 7: Season 2 song L'amour caché which she sang and co-wrote with producer Gijs Knol.
