Curtain Blue

Curtain Blue is the solo project of New Delhi based producer, composer and singer Abhishek Bhatia, an artist creating a cinematic Indo Western sound that blends Indian folk textures with electronic production, live instrumentation and immersive visual storytelling. Originally emerging from India’s independent music scene as the frontman of alternative act The Circus, Abhisek has spent years performing across India, the UK and Southeast Asia, gradually shaping him into a genre fluid world that sits between electronica, indie pop and cinematic sound design. His music combines harmonium, sarangi, tabla, dholak, brass sections, analog synths and electronic textures into a sound that feels deeply rooted in India while remaining globally contemporary. Curtain Blue's latest single 'Yeh Duniya' marks his first Hindi language track, bringing his electronic and alternative production world into a distinctly Indian sonic space. At its heart, Yeh Duniya is about finding connection inside confusion. It is not necessarily about finding the answers, but finding comfort in knowing that we are all asking the same questions together.
