Roots Raid

Founded in Bourges in 2011, Roots Raid is now led by Natty Bass, a multi-instrumentalist and producer. Rooted in dub and reggae, the project has steadily expanded its sound over the years, blending bass music, soul and electronic influences into a constantly evolving musical identity. With several albums, numerous live performances across France and abroad, and collaborations with artists such as Panda Dub, Dawa HiFi, High Tone, Cookah & Likkle Ferguson, Marina P and Tamilla, Roots Raid continues to push beyond genre boundaries from its early dub foundations to the R&B, trip-hop and electronic textures of Blue Hour. Né à Bourges en 2011, Roots Raid est aujourd’hui porté par Natty Bass, multi-instrumentiste et producteur. Issu du dub et du reggae, le projet façonne au fil des années une musique ouverte, nourrie de bass music, de soul et de textures électroniques. Avec plusieurs albums à son actif, de nombreux concerts en France et à l’international, et des collaborations avec Panda Dub, Dawa HiFi, High Tone, Cookah & Likkle Ferguson, Marina P ou encore Tamilla, Roots Raid trace un parcours singulier, des fondations dub de ses débuts aux couleurs R&B, trip-hop et électroniques de Blue Hour.
