BUSINESS: clydecyrusmusic@gmail.com Atlanta-based lyricist Clyde Cyrus is a gifted artist with a story as gripping as his music. Immediately after receiving an encouraging DM from Earl Sweatshirt, C² went on the run & served 9 months for his probation violation in 2015. Upon release, Clyde released his debut single 1998 on Halloween, amassing tens of thousands of SoundCloud streams and jumpstarting his career as an ambitious teenager performing alongside hip-hop legends Dead Prez & X-Clan at his first show in Indianapolis. Soon followed a slew of singles including Invincible, assisted by Grammy-nominated Julia Michaels & LongLiveSTEELO, a powerful tribute to the late, great Capital Steez. Upon the success of these songs, C² released his debut album Cleverlasting. & The Crown Chakra! displaying boom-bap, lo-fi, trip-hop & psychedelic trap sounds. In 2019, Invincible (ft. Julia Michaels) was tweeted by The Needle Drop. Cyrus kicked off the new decade showcasing autotune on Prayer followed by a fresh cycle of hits such as Sleep, EMOCEANS, & What's the Point?, with credits from PRO ERA, Jalen Tyree & Snøw . This run included a viral Mac Miller tribute, earning the young poet praise from Ab-Soul & Big Sean. In 2023, C² released 7 Sent a short yet potent project praised for its lyrical focus and sonic cohesion. After declining a major record deal under LVRN, Clyde will release his first love album NEUTRAL NEGLECT in October 2025.
