"I'm only happy when I'm down" This sentiment fuels the music of Swedish pop duo miamipanic. Driven by a thirst for the music they craved, they've crafted a sound grounded in the synthpop and new romantic era of the early 80s, drawing inspiration from icons like Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, and Human League. miamipanic's 5-track debut EP 'stuck in my head' is exploring themes of heartbreak, forbidden love, and drug abuse with a touch of hope. The upcoming EP blends dark, catchy pop melodies with evocative lyrics, analogue synthesizers, and drum machine landscapes. Imagine Depeche Mode meets Taylor Swift, with a touch of Chvrches, The Weeknd, The Chainsmokers, Hurts, Kent, and LANY.
