Akpevwe Henry Orode, professionally known as Orode, is a UK-based musical artist and songwriter born on July 4, 2006, in Delta State, Nigeria. A genre-fluid artist, Orode blends Afrobeats, melodic rap, R&B, and alternative influences, refusing to be boxed into one sound. He began singing and writing music at the age of five, officially launching his music career in 2023. His debut single, “Scatter the Wishes,” released on 12 January 2024, marked the start of a fast-growing journey. In the past year, Orode has performed at festivals and live shows, building on-stage experience and audience connection, while also amassing over 100,000+ total streams across platforms.
