Biography & Metadata
As solo artists, Toronto's @J.H.M and Ed Eagle have topped the Apple Music charts in nine countries, received radio airplay throughout the world and combined for nearly 5 million streams across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal and other streaming services. With J.H.M handling the songwriting duties and playing most of the instruments and Eagle providing his trademark vocals, the two brothers-in-law have joined forces on tracks that are heavy on dark and emotional lyrics, acoustic-electric Americana musical vibes and powerful vocals. After building a fan base with their first three tracks, the brooding “Make My Day,” the Pearl Jam-reminiscent “Perfect Boy,” and the melancholic “Time and Time,” the duo has joined forces with a long-time Sony engineer to produce their latest single, “Little Pocket.” A post-grunge tour de force that has taken their music in a powerful yet more polished direction, “Little Pocket,” is a radio-ready rock track that should help 2 Odd Dogs reach a much wider mainstream audience in 2023. The two have also joined forces as key leaders in the New Artist Spotlight international community of indie artists and contributed vocals to the group's cover of the Beatles classic, “Because.”
