Theresa Phondo

Theresa Phondo is a standout in the Afro R&B Gospel space and Malawi’s most-streamed female artist on Spotify. Her hit single ‘Blessings’, has won over a global audience and has been featured in social media posts by stars like Travis Greene, Lecrae, Meagan Good, Teyana Taylor, Gabrielle Union, Halle Bailey, Tamera Mowry, Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child, and 450,000+ others. She has also appeared on major platforms such as BBC Radio London, SABC, and Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell. In 2024, she released her self-titled debut EP, was named one of Malawi’s 100 Most Inspiring Women by Wealth Magazine, and won Female Artist of the Year at the Maso Awards. Beyond music, Theresa served as the Administrative Assistant to the Chief Strategy Advisor to the President of Malawi.
