JSDavani

OPPORTUNITYISNOWHERE: In addition to music composition and sound design, Jacoby Davani also works with and regularly exhibits experimental photography, film, writings, and paintings. This multi-medium output has been most accurately as "psychological surrealism" and achieved through a blended "technorganic" approach: a strategy that incorporates technology and various environmental variables through fluidly engaging and embracing an open-minded philosophy towards experimentation. The video loops that play with many tracks are pulled from hours of experimental film, demonstrating the mentioned 'technorganic' synthesis of analog and digital components. These processes have been developed alongside a decade-long career in mental health as a Behavior Analyst and have become fundamental in obtaining peace of mind and balance, himself.
