Standing at the forefront of UK underground producers, over the years Owlybeats has put together a string of exciting releases within the UK grime scene. Active on and off since the early 2000's, recent years have seen a string of instrumental releases on the legendary Slimzos Recordings label, featuring regular radio play on many of the UK's top stations. In 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic, the focus shifted to working with MC's and releasing tracks with veterans and rising stars alike. This culminated with the arrival of the 'Nocturnal' album in 2021, 11 tracks of pure 140bpm grime featuring some of the hottest names in the UK grime scene.
