Somnyx

Somnyx is a Dutch Lo-Fi producer with a background in hip-hop and urban music. He has been releasing Lo-Fi music under different aliases since 2022, exploring different styles and sounds along the way. In 2026, Somnyx started a new chapter, introducing a new sound and identity focused on the music that feels most natural to him. His current sound draws from Jazz, R&B and Boom Bap, combining laid-back drums, warm melodies and soulful textures with the raw character of hip-hop. For Somnyx, music is closely connected to personal experience. His tracks are shaped by how he feels and what he goes through, allowing different moods and moments to influence the production. Rather than sticking to one specific formula, he uses Lo-Fi as a space to experiment while keeping his sound authentic and personal.
