Wes Felton

Wes Felton is a Washington Native and Son of Jazz Pianist Hilton Felton. Younger eardrums might hear a whiff of Frank Ocean, but area fans know Felton has been crafting thoughtful R&B since Ocean was collecting Pokemon cards. The poet-singer-rapper-actor’s resume runs deep with collaborations with Meshell Ndegeocello, Ben Williams, Diamond D, Omar, Mos Def, Chris Rock, Prince Paul and others. DC appearances of Wes are rare because he is usually touring the globe as one half member of The CrossRhodes with Raheem DeVaughn DeVaughn. His art is up close and personal. He wears his heart and art on his sleeves.
