Born in Germany and shaped by years in the Dominican Republic, his sound moves between Afro House, Afro Tech and Tribal House, driven by percussion, hypnotic grooves and emotionally charged vocals. His journey spans from Eternity Collide, which spent six weeks at #1 on the World Chill House Charts, to collaborations across Africa, Europe and the Caribbean. He has released several records with acclaimed Kenyan vocalist Idd Aziz, including Ndege, Wacha and Barua, alongside collaborations with South African vocalist Lizwi on Lion and Ghanaian musician Stevo Atambire, known for Anchor Point. REX STAX has released music on My Other Side Of The Moon / Kitisuru, Café De Anatolia, Union Records, Iziki, Chakra Records, QulaQas Records and more. His releases have reached Beatport and international dance charts and received support from Black Coffee, Shimza, Francis Mercier, Themba, and many more. Beyond the studio, REX STAX has performed in more than 20 countries, from the Caribbean to Africa, Europe and Asia. His sets combine rhythm, energy and storytelling, connecting cultures through the shared language of the dancefloor.
