Thiraiyan

Thiraiyan, an independent rapper, producer, and song writer rooted in Tamil hip-hop, is carving his own space in the South Indian underground. Known for a distinctive voice, sharp lyricism, and production that bridges contemporary hip-hop with the sounds and identity of his roots, Thiraiyan brings together raw emotion, social reflection, and an uncompromising independent spirit. His music captures the realities of finding a place in a rapidly changing world—touching on struggle, identity, inequality, and the journey of building a life and sound from the ground up. In 2026, Thiraiyan continued that evolution with the track Evanuku Theriyum (எவனுக்கு தெரியும்) a hard hitting trap 808 with south Indian Tavil and indigenous of south India with the producer Dropstaber further establishing his presence in a track TRIFECTA with his brothers lil Zakki and Its RD pushing the boundaries and stepping his presence into Tamil and Malayalam Hip Hop. Beyond his solo work, Thiraiyan is now working in a South Indian hip-hop cypher, bringing together artists from Kerala and Tamil Nadu and Thiraiyan contributing as both producer and artist. With every release, Thiraiyan continues to build a sound that is deeply Tamil, distinctly independent, and unapologetically his own—connecting underground hip-hop culture with a new generation of listeners.
