Leading UK guitarist Ant is “a game changer” and “an innovator” according to The Guardian. His ninth album 'Unified Theories' featured ten original compositions and introduced a brand new ensemble featuring Will Vinson , Gwilym Simcock, Orlando Le Fleming and Ernesto Simpson. Brigitte Beraha sings self-penned lyrics on three tracks. His previous album ‘Ensconced’ (August 2024) was the first collaboration with Brigitte Beraha, featuring Ant playing acoustic guitar. Before that came ‘Same Moon in the Same World’ (November 2022), now an ongoing project with brilliant saxophonist/composer Alex Hitchcock. Recorded across multiple continents, bridging the gap between London, Amsterdam and New York, it brings together a stellar cast: vibraphonist Joel Ross, bassists Linda May Han Oh, Ben Williams, Jasper Høiby, and drummers Jeff Ballard, Kendrick Scott, Sun-Mi Hong and Eric Harland. In 2013 Ant’s debut 'Entanglement' was released, followed by 'Zero Sum World' (2015) and 'Life I Know' (2018) - described as “career-defining”. It achieved 5 star reviews, made numerous “best of 2018" lists, received worldwide airplay and was added to numerous editorial playlists on Spotify. 2020 saw the release of Ant’s 4th album 'The Sleeper Wakes'. Ant is the “L” in Trio HLK who record/tour with Evelyn Glennie. Guitar magazines often feature Ant, recently including him in a list of “10 Astounding Virtuosos”.
