Biography & Metadata

Known for his fluency across orchestral and commercial music, Tom Player is among the most versatile composer-producers working in British music today, moving between concert hall, studio and stage. An award winner across British Arrows, Cannes Lions, D&AD, Creative Circle, Kinsale Shark and Golden Trailer Awards, he has released three solo albums: Resonance Theory, Hand Made and Close Your Eyes. Remix and arrangement credits include Queen, Oasis, Daft Punk, Blur, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, The Verve, Fatboy Slim, Labrinth, De La Soul, Joe Goddard, The Lightning Seeds and Anna Lapwood. Ministry of Sound Classical, which he leads as arranger and producer, has sold out the Royal Albert Hall and headlined major festivals and concert halls worldwide, with guest performers including Rag'n'Bone Man and Sigma. He also produced Britpop Classical, reimagining Britpop anthems for orchestra with Alex James of Blur. A formative early career spent in Hans Zimmer's Los Angeles studio, alongside Lorne Balfe and Ramin Djawadi, shaped his musical foundations. Commercial work spans campaigns for Cartier, Aston Martin, McLaren, Jaguar, Emirates and Shiseido. He is the founder of Lost Track Productions.
