Richard Carter

Meet Richard Carter, a visionary artist, producer and songwriter from South Norwood, London. You may know Richard from his production on the biggest horror film of 2023, “Talk To Me”, with his track "Le Monde" being streamed over 100 million times. His musical journey is shaped by diverse influences, from his aunt’s hip-hop to The Beatles and reggae from his dad. At age 2, Richard discovered a piano in the rain and has been playing ever since. His music seamlessly blends hip-hop, orchestral, pop, indie, and gospel, and explores mental health, love, and power struggles. A series of singles in 2023 and 2024 led to the Rising Star Award at the Youth Music Awards in October 2024. Following his debut EP in 2025, 2026 is set to be a breakthrough year for Richard with the release of his next single “Overnight”.
