Jorge Luis Chacin

Jorge Luis Chacín, Singer-songwriter, composer, producer and musician, is one of the most complete Venezuelan artists in the musical arena. He began as a singer and composer of the renowned Venezuelan Super Band, Guaco, in which he remained for almost a decade, composing most of its successes (1993 - 2002) After signing an editorial contract with the world's largest independent editor, Peermusic, he moved to the United States to continue his successful career as a composer and singer-songwriter. He was part of the successful Bachá duo with which he obtained his first Latin Grammy nomination in the category of Best Contemporary Tropical Album (2005). He was recently nominated for 7 Latin Grammys including Song of the Year (2), Best Pop Song, Best Tropical Song, Best Regional Mexican Song, Best Contemporary Tropical Album, and Album of the Year (2022). Jorge Luis Chacín has composed for great artists such as Christina Aguilera, Becky G, Nathy Peluso, Nicki Nicole, Camilo, Carlos Vives, Christian Nodal, Thalía, Prince Royce, Ricardo Montaner, Ricardo Arjona, David Bisbal, Victor Manuelle, Gilberto Santa Rosa, among others. In his solo career, his most successful song, "Canta", has managed to reach the top positions on the Venezuelan radio billboard.
