Biography & Metadata
T. Morgan Music is a Liberian-born artist whose story carries the weight of survival, resilience, and purpose. He entered the world during a civil war that took his mother Brenda Bracewell, when he was two, a loss that shaped his entire path. In 2001 he moved to the United States, landing in Baltimore on February 14. Months later, he witnessed the 9/11 attacks as a kid in elementary school. Music became the place he processed everything. Tupac’s voice guided him toward turning pain into expression, and by sixth grade he was recording as Prophettheone with his friend Solomon Williams as the Young Disciples. The foundation of his business mindset came from his godfather, Dante Young, who put him to work in a Baltimore CD store. That’s where he learned how sales, demand, and the music industry actually operate. Years later he reintroduced himself as T. Morgan Music, focusing on community, authenticity, and meaningful growth over fake numbers and shortcuts. At his live shows, the standout moment is simple: the crowd singing words he once wrote alone. For him, that’s where everything becomes real. He survived war, grew up in Baltimore, and rebuilt himself multiple times. His music is personal and rooted in lived experience, echoed in raw lines like: “And I lost my moms at the age of two, Traumatized early on, living miserable. Wish heaven had a place I could visit you, And if you could hear me now, know I’m missing you.”
